The 4th of July is on Tuesday so today I am sharing an easy and festive recipe that’s fun for the whole family!
Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
Block of cheese of your choice cut into 1/4-1/2 inch slices
10 hot dogs
Cooking spray
Tooth Picks
Red and white paper straws
Directions:
Heat oven to 375°F
Unroll dough and press perforations to seal
Cut dough into 1/2 inch thick strips
Wrap dough around each hot dog
Place wrapped hot dogs on an ungreased large cookie sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray
Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and hot dogs are hot
Mean while, using a small star shaped cookie cutter, create star shapes in cheese
Remove hot dogs from oven
Once slightly cooled, insert paper straws into one end of hot dogs
On the other end attached cheese stars using toothpicks
