Today I am talking about staple pieces we all have in our closets. I’m talking jeans, a white tee, black sweater, leather pants or leggings, pearl earrings, white dress shirt… pieces we ALL have in our closets. Today I am taking a few staple pieces- the black sweater, a leather pant, pearl earrings and a white blouse and dressing these basic pieces up a notch!

One way to chic-up basics is to stick with a black and white color scheme. Black and white is always classy, fashionable and chic! Adding fun accessories like a hat or a statement earring also elevate a look and can take it from basic to stylish!
I paired this off the shoulder black sweater with a white dress shirt (similar here) and black leather pants (similar here). To add some extra flair to the look I accessorized with drop pearl earrings and a black hat.
