Florals? For fall? Groundbreaking!

It’s the beginning of a new season- fall. The leaves are turning, the temperatures are dropping and it’s time to pull our cozy sweaters out from the backs of our closets and fold up our sundresses and put away our flip flops.

But just because summer is over and flowers aren’t in bloom doesn’t mean you can’t rock a floral look this fall. The key to doing so is all about your color palette. Think jewel tones- emerald green, lapis purple, ruby or garnet, amethyst, sapphire blue, smoky quarts and golden yellow. These rich and deep hues not only look great on every skin type, but they are the perfect palette for the season.

This powder blue badycon dress by ASOS incorporates every jewel tone in it’s floral pattern. I recently wore this dress (but in red) to a wedding and was comfortable dancing all night long it in. Adding the garnet red accessories adds even more jewel toned flair. This Rebecca Minkoff clutch with zipper detailing is a great bag for fall. It can take you from casual to dressy and its large enough to fit all your essentials. These Cole Haan heels are now sold out (bummer!) but I found a similar pair.

Kisses and flowery wishes,
