The 4th of July is next week so today I am sharing a really easy and festive recipe- chocolate dipped pretzels. Stay tuned, because later this week I’ll be sharing even more holiday recipes here on the blog!
Ingredients:
1 bag of red candy melts
1 bag of blue candy melts
1 bag of white candy melts
24 pretzel rods
4 Tbsp white star sprinkles
1 ziplock bag
Directions:
Melt white candy melts as directed on package
Cover baking sheet with waxed paper
Dip pretzels 1 at a time 2/3 into the melted white candy being sure to let excess candy drip off
Place on prepared baking sheet and allow to dry
Once dry, melt blue candy melts as directed on package
Dip pretzels 1 at a time 1/3 into the melted blue candy being sure to let excess candy drip off
Place on prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with star sprinkles before allowing to dry
Melt red candy melts as directed on package and transfer to a ziplock bag
Cut a small hole in the corner of the bag and create stripes on the undipped portion of the pretzel
Refrigerate 30 minutes
