“In Italy they add work and life on to food and wine.” -Robin Leach

Walks is a big pasta fan and a luck guy because he can eat it for every meal and not gain a pound! I made this pasta for him a few weeks ago and he said it was his favorite meal I’d ever made for him.
This simple and light Italian dish is quick and easy to make and pairs amazingly with white wine and crusty garlic bread!

“I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival . . . It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, bonfires and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other, from this day forward forevermore.” -John Adams

Today I am sharing the perfect 4th of July look no matter your plans!
“I was sad. But then I bought something online. I feel better now.” -Unknown

Surprise, surprise! Another off the shoulder look! I’ve told y’all- its really become an obsession.
This dress is a total steal (under $40!) and perfect for summer! I bought it for Cabo and wore it a few weekends ago as well for date night with Walks. He and his roomie complimented me on it, so I think its safe to say its a keeper!
“Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like.” -Mark Twain

I am somewhat picky about my meats. I like red meat, fish and wild game, but white meat like chicken or turkey or pork aren’t my faves! Because of this lamb is one of my favorite meats. Its so rich and hearty and full of flavor.
Growing up we would eat it all the time. The first daddy/daughter date I remember going on with my dad was to a small little Greek place in our neighborhood. We split the rack of lamb and from then on I was sold! Side note- if you live or are traveling to Orange County you must try this restaurant! It’s called Christakis. We still celebrate all our important family events there 25 some odd years later.
This lamb recipe will wow the whole family, especially dad. It pairs wonderfully with my champagne mac and cheese too!
“There’s nothing interesting about looking perfect. You want you’re wearing to say something about who you are.” -Emma Watson

I love mixing and matching fun and unexpected patterns, colors and textures. I do it so much in my interior design and today I’m incorporating this style technique into my look.
You’ll remember these green floral pants from last week. Today I paired those same ASOS pants with an embellished tee (a DIY project but basic tee here), cowhide leopard heels and a simple chambray blazer to tie the whole look together.
“Care for your clothes like they are good friends.” -Joan Crawford
I got this dress to wear for Walker’s graduation weekend. I wore it to a dinner with his parents then later that night to a graduation party.
This dress is perfect for summer- its easy, its light weight, and its flirty. It is perfect for a summer BBQ or your upcoming vacation.
“Indian food is a luxury tour.” -Mahesh Bhupathi

I love Indian food. The first restaurant my parents took me too (I was less than a week old) was Indian and we would eat it all the time growing up. I’ve introduced Walker to it and he’s become a fan as well!
For those of you who don’t have a broad palate Indian food may seem scary! But fear not my foodie friends! Do you like chicken? Do you like yummy, delicious sauce? Yes, and yes? Well then you’re going to be a fan of chicken tikka masala.
“Fashion is instant language.” -Miuccia Prada

Maxi’s are the perfect summer staple. They’re great for traveling- I don’t know about you, but I’m always freezing on airplanes and the length of a maxi keeps my legs warm, perfect for weekend brunching, running errands or even for casual date night with your boo.
“Clothes aren’t going to change the world. The women to wear them will.” Anne Klein

Anything off the shoulders has become my obsession lately. To me its summery, sassy, and flirty. This ASOS dress is a steal (under $40!). I paired this little number with a Kendra Scott necklace and grey tassel heels (similar here, here and here).
