“Vodka is made from potatoes. Potatoes are vegetables. Vegetables are good for you. You’re welcome.” -Unknown
The temperatures are dropping and staying warm and cozy is a must! Yes, putting on that new pea coat you just bought is chic and all, but isn’t a liquid coat a little bit more fun?
Walker and I love Moscow Mules (that’s what we were drinking the night we met) but since it’s fall and I love being festive I thought it’d be fun, and yummie, to add a seasonal twist to the classic beloved cocktail.
Apple Cider Moscow Mule Recipe (serves 1)
2 ounces vodka
2 ounces apple cider
Juice of ¼ orange
½ cup ginger beer
Cinnamon to sprinkle
Cinnamon stick
In a copper mug, add vodka, apple cider and fresh squeezed orange juice. Fill the glass with ice, sprinkle cinnamon with, then top off with ginger beer. Stir well and garnish with an apple slice or orange slice and cinnamon stick.
