A Crumble To Love Berry Much

I’ll toot my own horn here for a second- I am a great cook, but when it comes to baking I’ll admit I am not the best. When I cook I rarely use measuring cups and I only use recipes as a guide. When baking, you have to be much more precise than “a little of this and a little of that”. This berry crumble recipe is foolproof. I promise! It’s seriously the easiest and most delicious berry crumble ever! And just perfect for those summer BBQs coming up!

LOOK LIKE A PRO IN THE KITCHEN:

INGREDIENTS:
1 box of yellow cake mix
4 cups of frozen berries
1 stick of unsalted butter
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Zest of 1 lemon
1/2 tbsp sugar

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 350°. Cover the bottom of the pan with frozen berries (usually takes about 4 cups).
Sprinkle sugar and lemon zest on top of the berries.
In a mixing bowl, microwave the stick of butter for 20 seconds. It’s ok if the butter doesn’t completely melt.
Add the cake mix to the bowl of butter. Mix well using your hands.
Pour the cake mixture on top of the berries. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake for 45 minutes or until crumble is golden brown.
Sprinkle with raw sugar for a little sparkle and serve with vanilla ice cream.berrycrumble2
