Thanksgiving Boozy Sweet Potato Casserole

Good morning guys! Thanksgiving is in just a few days y’all! So exciting! Tomorrow Walker and I leave for California to spend the Holiday with my family. We’ve celebrated Easter, Mother’s and Father’s Day together, but this is our first “big” holiday we’re spending together and I honestly could not be more thrilled to be doing so! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and to have who I am most thankful for celebrating with me is just a dream come true!

Today I am sharing mine and my mom’s boozy sweet potato casserole recipe. We love putting booze in everything we make, so our sweet ‘taters are no exception! And let me tell you, these are AMAZING!

Fall Fashion Trends Series- Jewel Tones

Good morning! I hope you guys are having a wonderful weekend. Walker and I went out with some friends who are in town from Miami last night which was fun! Today we will watch church online and work, work, work! Since we will be out of town visiting my parents for almost a week, we both really want to get caught up on work. Tonight for dinner I’m making Keto pizza!! Is it bad I am already excited for it?

But onto fashion! Today is another installment of my fall fashion trend series. Today’s featured trend is jewel tones! Oh la la! Jewel tones are the perfect color palette for not only fall, but the Holidays! These rich and romantic tones feel fancy, lux and dressy!

My Addiction to Faux Fur is Fur-real

Hello, hello friends! I hope everyone had a fun and safe Friday night. Walk’s and I had a real whoop it up kinda night. I was exhausted from shooting all day (I am so flippin’ excited to share everything with you!!!!) and he was exhausted from working killer hours all week, so we got Halal Guys takeout and FINALLY finished “Vikings”. If you haven’t tried Halal Guys, you honestly haven’t lived (I order the small, combo meat, no rice, red sauce, extra white sauce, extra lettuce every time) and to be honest, you could totally live without watching “Vikings”.

Today’s post is another furry one! If y’all haven’t noticed I’m kinda obsessed with faux fur this season. (See recent posts here- leopard fur and here- pink fur.) Today I am sharing this retro 70’s faux fur look, plus some of my fave fave furs!

Happy Sunday Sunday my friends! Last night Walker and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings here in Sherman to watch the TCU game. Hot date night baby! And tonight we’re going to see Murder On The Orient Express, which we’re both really excited about!!! Today while he’s at work, I’ll be meal prepping for him for the week, he’s now in the veto diet as well, and working on some new and fun fall content for y’all!
